Today our QI Team went out to celebrate at equinox. It is a fine dining area at a view of 70 floor. You can see the view of the city and the sea at one glance. It was amazing. After tortured by our QI for 2.5 years which is soooo long, we gain ourselves a few wining award from our QI project. So that why we went to this place for our celebration.

However, I have to comment that, the service and food is okok only, or should I say the service is bad. Can you imagine we went there to have our dinner, with no one topping up the water for us. We are been isolated at one corner at the enterance. As for the food, we ordered a seafood platter as an appetizer, but i'm disappointed with the crab because it is not fresh, it causes my tongue to itch. lucky got the lobster if not will be double sadness. As for my main course, I ordered a salmon fillet, it was well cooked and the portion is just nice. normally when we ordered salmon, is either raw or fully cooked until the meat is very tough. But this salmon will melt in your mouth without chewing. you can imagine it is so soft.

I pity my other friends who ordered the lamb,  when they bring out the dish, we all were shocked, we are  all thinking, that's all? only a few small pieces of lamb on the biggg plate and a bowl of don't know what over there. we all thinking of the lamb with the stick poking out  but not this one. Lucky thing, it tasted not bad according to my friends.

Than my Dr ordered a pork belly main course, portion ok for a guy but the vegetable cannot make it, It is so crunchy until I can heard it when I  sit beside him and the best part is, I thought he is eating the pork belly, so crunchy but the fact is , no. He is eating the bottom of the vegetable. hahaha

By right we wanted to order wine, but in the end we never, after seeing the price of the wine, we decided to stick to our plain water. And when the bill is shown, guessed what the bill is, it costs us 600 plus for 5 people. and we are not satisfied. In the end we when to the basement for our tea time at tiong bahru bakery.

Soooo...... it is an expensive fine dining experience that I wont want to have another one. Is so not worth it.

These few days, quite a fair bit that happened. First of all, I passed my LSCN course yesterday. So far so good. Maybe is because I went advance dip in  medical surgical plus I work in HD before, so I know the kind of drugs to use  when emergency. Small cases!!! haha:P

And I lighten up someone with surprise because of recently, the person cannot go for advance dip due to low number of participant to go for the course. quite sad for her and she tried to appeal but cannot. Plus that day, she had a rough time at work. so I wanted to cheer her up so I ask  to deliver something for her and she was happy. and she told me not to waste money on that, so I told her than next time I send her the plastic one, can last forever. haha

I also went out with my china gang colleagues for dinner and KTV. Im shocked to see when I saw the bill at the restaurant is freaking cheap for 8 people and each person paying only like 17 buck.  We went Chinatown K box to sing KTV and I impressed by my rehab china colleagues , they can really sing very well and very high pitch.  I nearly jaw drop when they sing. HAHA . After singing , we went strolling at clark quay, sit by the river, listening to music from the other site. Is so enjoyable. :)

Time have passed so fast, it's the end of my leave.  Tomorrow will be my last day of leave. Not a bad leave, while slacking at home, I'm still earning money. :P I had attended Anna 's wedding dinner though something last min  but lucky thing was, not much of people is around. Only their family who saw it and some of us. Never mind, it will still be a happy ending. :)

Time to start read up and refresh myself with LSCN book which I haven even touch . haha. Should be ok la.. haha.  

2nd day of AL, first time in the morning I realised I made money from my shares. HeHe... :P a few hundreds  . Not that bad . at least enough to cover the wedding hong bao.

In the afternoon I was for movie and facial. Time to pamper my face after 2 round of night. :) I also bought some food for my family while on my way to fetch my mum and my sister home. At least today my day is fruitful :)

Finally finished my night with patient fighting, in the end I have to put up RMS. Sian to the max. Best is just before my AL start. Never mind, I will just take it easy. Funny thing is  I had like 3 RMS ever since I came back. one RMS, patient fall. 2nd RMS patient absconded. now the 3rd one, patient fighting. weird luck for me.

something good that happen on my first day of AL, that is I received a call from Andrea , saying I'm going for Quality for the strength of Asia at Bangkok. woohooo!!!! first time ever. I can't believe it lo. She was also surprised that I'm going. haha. Me too . Best part is my family also want to go Bangkok to shop. good right?? lol. this is a unplanned thing for me. looking through the hotel to see which hotel is cheaper because the hotel they suggest is swissotel  , so expensive lor. 

It been a while that I last blog. Quite a number of things that happen, got good and got bad. I shall slowly blog it down.

First of all, I'm been nominated by my sisters to go for the outward bound Singapore(OBS) leadership and service awards (LSA) 2013. Something happy to be glad on. Although SGH only going to have 5 nominates to participate, I hope I can be one of them. It is a good chance to expose myself to this type of event. Now, I'm waiting for the reply for SNA to confirm who will be going. It will be a 21 days in Pulau Ubin. I can sense it will be fun. hehe. Welcome to the fun for camping. lol

Second thing was yesterday I went to watch the SGH liver transplant musical. First time ever watch SGH performance this type of musical. It was just 1 hour but it did bring the message across, heart warming and funny. And I saw my ex colleagues from 57 dancing. I didn't know that they dance so well. I was amazed. All of them looked like a different person totally.

Third thing was today, I went to participate in the vertical challenge conducted by our very own physiotherapy department. As from the name itself, is not challenging who can jump the highest win. but is about climbing our very new building in SGH , the academia. It is a 13th level high building and one of the highest in sgh for now!!! haha. So I joined the fun although I'm off today. me and my colleagues form a team to participate the event. As we climb the stupid staircase, I was like what the hell, how come no ending one. idiot lor. my knee was painful but have to tahan through it. but in the end still managed to complete it. I didn't bother to check out my timing all I want to do is to sit down and rest my freaking painful knee and gastric upset. 

After the whole event, I went to meet up my god sister for lunch and tea time. We went to PS the zhong tian  restaurant to have our lunch, the food there not bad, pricing reasonable. display of the food also special.  Follow by, we went to wisma to  have our tea time at paris baguette. The desserts were too tempting to be eaten but in the end we still ate it. haha. we ordered  haha family and strawberry shortcake and the desserts were superb. I so long never eat the cake that is soft and tender. really worth my time and money. haha. I will go there to have my dessert again when I go there. hehe
