Time to update about what happen last week. I had my first resuscitation after coming back in my ward. It was very sudden but I expected that to happen because the patient condition was like a time bomb. When it happened, the people around were mostly junior and never do resuscitation before. They are so lost till I had to run the whole show  even when my sister is around. Plus my on call HO is also damn lost, so panicky when she can't get the plug in for the patient, so in the end, to make herself useful, she jump up on to the patient to do the compression while I had to connect the leads onto the patient, than preparing adrenaline for them, help them find veins so that more fluid can be connected and lastly  do compression. Luckily, I still got shuyan who help me set up the suction set, sister Irene to prepare the ETT tube (but in the end failed to insert) and seri who help to administer the drug. However, patient still pass away. I find is better for him to go than to suffer further.

And yesterday night, I had a very very weird dream. I dreamt of me and my ex competing to send a game message to each other to decide whether we can get back together. If my message is faster than her, it will be a yes, we can get back together. If her message  is faster than mine, than it will be a no. So in the end, She won and I was sad than I wake up with a little of tear at my eyes. What a weird dream to have. Does it say something ?? Don't know. hmmm....

Today, it marks the end of my preceptoring course at bestway. This is one of the courses I enjoyed the most. Not only did I gain the knowledge, I met some new friends from singhealth polyclinic and eye centre. And the best part is, the lecturer is my foundation programme sister, NE Low. It just bring me back to the days where I'm doing my foundation programme with her. We shared in the class about something that may improved sgh as a whole in term of nursing professional, which I feel we are the same kind of person. We need changes to the top people so that we can advance as a whole.

For lunch, we went out to tajiong pagar AXA building to search for our food. We went to once a upon a rosti to have our lunch. apparently, it tasted good. but because of my sause, mustard, which is super sour. it spoil my rosti a bit but overall is worth my money and taste. So next time go training at bestway, we got more choices. no need to just go tajiong pagar mrt exchange or international plaza or mac or burger king.hehe

Today I went to update my bank book and I realised that my stock interest is in. it just a small investment of 6k plus, I got a 2 percent interest back. Not a bad return. Even the bank also cannot give me such a good interest. and I don't need to wait for 1 year to see the return, it just took me like 2 month hehe. :P

Today also went out for dinner with my rehab staffs at buffet town and kai shin brought her daughter along, so I went to play with her, carry her around to see see and look look. I like to play with them. At that moment, I really enjoyed it, been able to take care of kai shin baby girl like my own while waiting for William to come, I become her part time daddy because she keep saying ba ba ba... haha. Let me thought of the minions. haha.  But thinking about, when I got the chance to have my own baby, I'm wondering how. haha. I think too much. lol.

For the past few weeks, I'm been doing OT after my morning shift. These have broke my principle and records to do OT unnecessary. This is because of my preceptee who is still learning and leaving all the shits till the end. Even how I tell or how other people scold her, she still repeatedly doing the same thing wrongly again and again. First 2 time I will teach, after that I will say  or even scold if I need to. Telling her the most important thing NOT to do is to pass shit over to the next shift. However, she repeatedly keep doing it again and again.

Now the current generation, we can't use the old way to teach them ( Scolding or sacarsiam) The more you do that on them, the more they will be demoralised and they more they won't want to learn. This is what we call the strawberry generation, one touch will be smash. Not like us, how the senior touch or smash on us, we are like a rubber ball, still can bounce it back and fight on. All I can say is the generation is getting bad to worse.

When can I get back my on the dot go home and not pass shit over?? Feel so bad for my colleagues who is taking over from them. ....hai....

Past week events

Time for some updates on my past one week. Last week, I had my BCLS re- cert. I went through effortlessly, just some updates on the  changes but the rest is still the same. So, I'm the first to finish  all the modules. :) In 2 years time, I will see this book again. wahaha. :)

Than in the evening, I met up my rehab staffs for dinner at big mama Korean restaurant in Tiong Bahru. I'm surprised to see this type of restaurant in Tiong Bahru because to me, it is some lulo place in Singapore. hehe. Not only that , we also went to To pot Teat to chill and enjoy deserts. not bad and unique place to go to chill, not too noisy and the place is nice.

On Tuesday, I went out with my god sister for dinner. We went to skinny pizza for our dinner and as usual, we are sharing our good and bad at SICU and my own ward plus my previous ward. But I have faith that she can make it la, coz she is my god sister, she can tahan the stress over there. haha. But the funny part is when we are waiting for our koi drink, there is one couple , I think is tourist suddenly approaches me to tell me my shirt is unique so she want to take a pic of it to show her friends. I was like ermmmm but I still let her took the pic la. Just feel funny when she ask to take pic of my shirt so randomly. haha
